As a credentialed media member, I spent eight seasons covering the Boston Bruins and the NHL. Below are some highlights of my work as featured in Sports Illustrated, The Hockey Writers, and Boston.com.

From Sports Illustrated

As part of a year-long series on the NHL’s Original Six for Sports Illustrated, I traveled to each team’s city, covered games as a credentialed writer, and wrote long-form essays examining how each franchise reflects the character and people of its hometown.

Covering the Boston Bruins from 2009–2016, I was credentialed by the team with full press box and locker room access for player and coach interviews. Rather than traditional post-game recaps, my work centered on op-eds, features, and narrative-driven pieces that often incorporated a first-person perspective. This is a sampling of my work.

Returning to the press box in a time-limited freelance role, I covered the Boston Bruins as a credentialed media member with work published on Boston.com.
